Fundraising consultancy and direction during a fundraising campaign

Objectives

To focus attention or resources on key areas of:

  • Opportunity
  • Difficulty

To support staff and/or volunteers newly in post to maximise their impact and to help avoid operational problems that can often arise in:

  • A fast-moving campaign, “against the clock”
  • Setting-up a new fundraising department

Duration

  • Six months or one year assignments reviewed (with a break clause) at the half-way point—with the option to extend at the end

Conduct

  • Progress reviews and planning sessions with the fundraising consultant in person or by telephone, letter, fax or e-mail
  • Regular progress meetings with appropriate staff/officers/volunteers
  • Provision of specialist inputs and advice as required
