Financial and fundraising planning studies
Objectives
To construct a compelling case for being given financial support from
a clearly defined set of potential fund sources
To engage the personal interest and involvement of some financial
leaders and opinion formers typical of those people or groups who will
have to be significant donors for the subsequent fundraising phase to
be successful
Method
To produce a comprehensive report, which is developed through 4-6
meetings, which makes clear the CASE for support; who the initial LEADERSHIP
will be; and what the fundraising PLAN OF ACTION is.
Timing
Typically at least six months are needed to engage strong leadership,
convince the whole organisation of the necessity and practicality of
the plan, and to put into action a realistic fundraising plan of campaign.
